iPad Troubleshooting Tips

Power off and on.

Close all apps. Double click on the Home Button, then slide all the boxes (running apps) up and out.

Check your wifi connection. Be sure you are on the STMS-ipad wireless network and your VPN is connected. Never use airplane mode.

Try refreshing your browser tab. With many apps and sites being cloud based, the connection may be good here, but not to the specific server. Refreshing the tab, reconnects to the server required for the app.

Is your iOS updated? Settings>General>Software Update

Is your app updated? Self Service>Reinstall

Clear browser history. Settings> Safari> Clear website data.

Check your charge.

Do a hard reset (As a last resort). Press the power button and the Home button at the same time and hold down for 10 seconds. Your iPad will restart.

Call the Tech Department at Ext 3136. Teachers/Staff call Tech Support.
